The kite boarding Asia, pioneer in Thailand; will be happy to welcome you with a perfect 3 days course, under the responsibility of a professional instructor.
Hua Hin beach is located about 300 kms on the south of Bangkok, on the eastern façade of the Golf of Thailand, close to the town of Chumpon. This place is idyllic with a 5 kms zone devoted for the practise.
The advanced kite Boarders will also find very good conditions to enjoy and an Airush Test Centre at their disposal.
BEGINNER COURSE DETAILS:
3-day Complete Beginner: Using the latest IKO teaching methods, we place a major emphasis on learning to safely rig / land / launch / fly a 4-Line inflatable kite. We want flying an inflatable kite to become second nature to you. Learn to fly these kites confidently and safely and the board riding will be easier than you would ever expect. In all our lessons we have kept to theory to a minimum and placed more emphasis on getting out on the beach / in the water and DOING it. By the end of the 3 days you should have completed IKO kite boarder Level 1 and Level 2 and be an independent kite boarder.
The standard course outline will be as follows and emphasizes hands on practice:
Day 1: Rigging up a 4 line kite and equipment safety systems, understanding the wind and weather, site assessment and safety, flying a 4-line kite on short lines, launching, landing, water re-launching, emergency quick release, self landing, equipment types and safety systems.
Day 2: Independently rigging up long lines, flying in the chicken loop, flying confidently at the edge of the wind window, rescue techniques, body dragging techniques, self launching techniques, basic water techniques
Day 3: Water start techniques, board riding techniques, water re-launch in deep water
Note: 1 day is roughly 4+ hours, min 2 students / max 4 students per instructor
We propose the following in Hua Hin packages from November to May only:
SOFT PRICE PACKAGE : FROM 290 EUROS
Those packages will start with one welcome night in Bangkok wherever you come from, in a 3 *** hotel (local standard) in order to digest the jetlag and to visit the one or two monuments like Grand palace for instance.
The day after your arrival on the Thai ground, you will take the train from Bangkok station of Hualumpong in direction of Hua Hin, this authentic trip should take around 3 hours. We strongly advise you to get your video ready!!
You will stay then 6 nights in a hotel of Hua Hin beach, selected for its proximity of the kite board school.
ATTENTION : The cost of the 3 days beginner courses which is 11 000 baths (around 240 euros regarding the currency) will be paid directly by you to the kite centre. The reason is that we want to avoid any inconvenience of refund if the courses couldn’t be done properly due to the weather conditions.
This price is including the instructor teaching and equipment.
Once the courses are over, you will have plenty of time to practise your new passion, during the few days left in Hua Hin and to discover the beautiful people of Thailand.
The morning of the 8th day will be the end of our package, offering you the possibility to choose the way back to Bangkok or to go somewhere else. We decide that it would be more comfortable for you as you will know then a little bit more about Thailand.
This package proposes the same planning, but lodging in superior accommodation. First of all in Bangkok with a superb Boutique Hotel well located, and secondly in Hua Hin with a hotel selected for its fine taste and services.

We inform you kindly that we can organise the same kind of trip in Phuket Island, during 9 months of the year. Nevertheless, we need to take care about the wind direction there, that imposes the choice of the beach where to practise, so we should choose the hotel regarding this indication.
